The AGRA-ATF 14/Under Series was organized by the Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA) and sanctioned by the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF). It was played on three (3) outdoor hard courts with three (3) indoor hard courts on standby if required. Eligible were players aged between 11 up to 14 years old or born between January 1, 1994 to December 31, 1997.

Aside from host Philippines, seven (7) Asian countries participated, namely: Malaysia, India, Bahrain, Hongkong, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Korea and Sri Lanka. A total of eighty (80) participants, including the qualifiers from the Philippines, raised the level of competition.

The top ten finishers for each event were also recognized during the awards rites. These included two Filipinos, Angelo Joseph V. Rivero (6th) and Jurence Zosimo G. Mendoza (9th), youngest among the participants at age 12.

Tournament Director Mendoza, who provided the comprehensive information for this report, informs us that this event was the first ATF tournament held at Subic Bay Tennis Center. It also marked her debut as Tournament Director, although she had previously organized one local Age Group event, the First PHILTA Gordon Cup (Group 1), which was held in May 2008.
