Marian Capadocia romps to victory over Clarice Patrimonio in 36th PCA Open 2017 ladies finals


The Philippine Columbian Association(PCA) Open, Marian Jade Capadocia won her 5th times ladies singles title with an impressive scored a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Anna Clarice Patrimonio, who was attempting to win her 3rd time PCA Open title at PCA Centre Court in Paco, Manila Nov 19,2017.

Capadocia,22, who went on to win her title at last Pintaflores ladies singles, proved again that she is a player for the big occasion. The Philippine Women’s top #2 seeded(PHILTA) rankings, has won local straight victories, after long time international appearance.

Capadocia, said, “I’m just so happy for winning the title again after two years. It’s like I’m winning my first crown again. My hard work really paid off,”.

Capadocia earned P50,000 and Patrimonio received P25,000 in the tournament supported by The Philippine Star, Asiatraders Dunlop, Stronghold Insurance, Whirlpool/Fujidenzo, Head, United Auctioneers, Pearl Garden Hotel, Babolat, Tyrecorp Inc., PVL Restaurant, Greenfield Marketers One, Mary Grace Foods Inc., Coca-Cola Philippines-FEMSA, Kraut Art Glass, Manuel Misa and lawyer Antonio Cablitas.
