14U Eala, 16U Llamas survives first round – 4th WTA Future Star 2017


Now on its 4th year, the WTA Future Stars 2017 will see 48 young tennis players from 21 countries best each other in a round-robin format competition of Asian junior women’s cup.

The Philippine WTA future star 2017 rosters 14-under Alexandra Eala and 16-under Tracy Llamas of La Carlota City(PHI) survives the first round match-up. Asia’s top seeded Alex Eala never eases the grip beat her respective foes Elsa Wan of Malaysia(6-3,3-6 -10-6) score result.

Tracy Llamas of La Carlota City 16-under categories, pushed her way into day 2 action after defeated Nicole Ng(SIN) on day-1 match-up final score result (6-3, 6-1).

The Philippine U14 top seeded Alexandra Eala will face-off her round 2 respective contender Lerr Min Lim(SIN) and Anjalika Kurera(SRI).

Tracy Llamas of La Carlota City next opponent are Huong Nguyen(VIE) and Megan Smith(AUS).

The 2017 WTA Future Stars initiative hits a new high with 48 qualifiers representing 21 countries across the Asia-Pacific, all gathering in Singapore to play against each other from October 17 – 22. Each country sends two representatives, one each in the U14 and U16 categories, with host city Singapore represented by nine participants this year.
